Poplar Bluff ~ Mike Weeks, age 60, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri suffered a heart attack and passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 while delivering a load of freight in Denver, Colorado.

Mike was born on September 4, 1961 in Cape Girardeau to his loving parents Cecil Weeks, Sr. and Deloris (Parker) Weeks. Mike attended Campbell High School and graduated with the Class of 1979. Mike dedicated over 22 years to his primary occupation as a professional truck driver. He was a former member of the Campbell General Baptist Church and most recently attended Beechwell General Baptist Church.

Everyone that knew Mike will always remember his kind heart, genuine care for others, and his uncanny ability to carry on a conversation for as long as you'd listen. He valued hard work, honesty, and above all, his family. Mike's infectious laugh and contagious smile will always live in the hearts of his family and friends.

Mike is survived by his wife, Melissa (Hargraves) Weeks; his Mother, Deloris Weeks; Daughter, Jennifer Erickson, husband (David), and children (Grace, Ava, Will); Son, Michael Weeks, Jr., wife (Kindra), and children (Payton, Brooklynn, Hunter, Fisher); Son, Matthew Weeks, wife (Amanda), and children (Waylon, Wyatt); Daughter, Mandy Walker, husband (Jeremy), and children (Jacob, Madelynn, Levi, and Allyson); Step-daughter, Haley McCormick and son (James); Step-son, Cody Miller, wife (Taylor), and children (Jaxson, Ryleigh); Step-son, Tyler Miller, wife (Gabrielle), and daughter (Anna).

Mike is also survived by his two brothers, Cecil Weeks, Jr. and wife (Myra); Mark Weeks and wife (Jerene); and sister, Pam Woolbright and husband (Mike); nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Cecil Weeks, Sr.

Please join us in celebrating Mike's life at Landess Funeral Home (1213 Allen Rd, Campbell, MO 63933) on Thursday, September 1, 2022 with visitation beginning at 4 p.m. and the funeral service will begin at 6 p.m., with Reverend Robert Fry officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition in Campbell.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
