Mike Payton passed away on Friday August 30, 2024 at St. Louis University Hospital at the age of 66 years, 6 months, and 19 days.

Mike was born on Tuesday February 11, 1958 in Lorain, Ohio to the late Kenneth Payton and Evelyn W. Razer Payton.  He was a dishwasher at Harley's Restaurant in Dexter and was of the Baptist faith.

His survivors include:  sister, Joyce Payton Duckett and husband Clark of Malden; brother, Willard Kenneth Payton; niece, Brittany Dachs, and two nephews, Tony Cunningham and Thomas Cunningham.

Mike was preceded in death by:  two brothers, Billy Joe Payton and Timothy Chris Payton.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday September 3, 2024 at Rosewood 1st Addition Cemetery in Malden with Rev. Stewart-Alan Clark officiating.
