Michelle Lyn Burnett, 48, rested in the arms of Jesus on April 2nd, 2019 in Little Rock, AR. She was born November 14th, 1970, in Poplar Bluff, MO to Kenneth and Dorothy Whiteside.

She survived by her parents Kenneth and Dottie, children, Abbey and Alex Burnett and sister Dana Ladymon, niece, Molly Dillard and her great niece Journee Dillard, all of Paragould and brother in law, Jay Thornton of Campbell.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Kristi Thornton and brother in law, Neal Ladymon.

Michelle's greatest passion was being a mother. She treasured and cherished every moment with them. She especially loved her role as "Shell" to her great niece Journee, who was the apple of her eye. She had a great love for teaching school, doing yoga and jazzercise. Michelle had an unforgettable personality and always made those around her smile. She made friends everywhere she went and loved to laugh.

Michelle's life was a living example of the bible verse Psalm 23, "The Lord is my Shepard, I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures. He leadth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul."

Visitation will be held at The First United Methodist Church of Jonesboro on Saturday, April 6th at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 12:00 p.m.. A Graveside will follow at 3 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell at 3:00 p.m..
