Malden ~ Michael James Patterson, 72 of Malden, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at his residence in Malden, Missouri.

Michael, son of Vernon and Dixie Black Patterson, was born on Tuesday, February 7, 1950 in Malden, Missouri.

He was a farmer, enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors and watching the crops. He was a Veteran of the Missouri National Guard.

His survivors include his mother, Dixie Patterson of Risco; daughter, Kelly Tyberendt and husband, Mark of O'Fallon, Illinois; son, Josh Patterson and wife, Amber of Farmington; five grandchildren, Isabella Scire, Allison Izard, Maddy Schnable, Jake Schnable and Carter Schnable; Great-Granddaughter, Maisyn Izard; sister, Shirley Frye and husband, Randy of Risco; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Patterson and brother, Dennis Patterson.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 25,  2022 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with memorial service beginning at 2 p.m.

Landess Funeral Home of Malden will be in charge of arrangement.
