Mathes Perry Johnson, 63 of Malden, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Aspire Senior Living in Malden.

Perry, son of Tom and Mattie Alcorn Johnson, was born on Wednesday, March 15, 1961 in Jaywye, Missouri.

He worked as a farm laborer and was of the Baptist faith.

His survivors include three sisters, Joyce Robinson and husband, Claude of Malden, Margaret Marsh of Sikeston and Jeanette Johnson and husband, Roosevelt of Lilbourn; two brothers, Terry Johnson and wife Ann of Malden, Victor Johnson and Alicia of Sikeston; several nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Gloria Tillman Pratcher and Minerva Grissom and four brothers, Johnny Johnson, Michael Johnson, Tom Johnson, Jr. and Al Johnson.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 23, 2024, beginning a 10 AM at Landess Funeral Home in Malden. The funeral service will follow at 11 AM in the Landess Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Earl Grissom officiating. Interment will be Catron Cemetery in Catron, Missouri.
