Marilyn Sue Douglas was born on January 15, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Charles Royal & Eugenia Adkison Royal. She departed this life on Wednesday February 26, 2020 at the Malden Nursing & Rehab in Malden, Missouri at the age of 71.

Marilyn was an elementary school teacher in Malden for 26 years and was of the Methodist faith. She was united in marriage to Jack Douglas in November 1975. He preceded her in death in February 1981.

Her survivors include:

Special friend: Fred Schmittler of Malden. 3 Sisters: Sharon Lloyd of Quincy, Illinois, Connie Hess & husband, Andy of Sikeston and Charla Royal of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Nieces: Dr. Chelsea Lloyd, Andrea Hess, Drew Hess and Corky Weegram. Many cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and niece: Stephanie Proffer.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden, Missouri.
