St. Louis ~ Margie J. (Hefner) Austin, 81 of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Margie, daughter of William Dallas "Flat" and Helen Anglee (Osborn) Hefner, was born on Tuesday, January 4, 1944 in Qulin, Missouri.

She was owner and operator of Curt's Hubcaps and Wheels and of the Presbyterian Faith.

On July 3, 1964 in St. Louis, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Curtis Lee Austin.  He preceded her in death on December 25, 2017.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura Lea Austin of St. Louis, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Freda Bruemmer; brothers, Landon Hefner and Jerry Hefner.

Visitation will begin at 12 noon Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell, Missouri, with funeral service beginning at 1 p.m.  Burial will follow at Qulin Cemetery in Qulin, Missouri.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Campbell are in charge of the arrangements.
