Margaret Mary
Hirtz
Nov 20, 1925 — Nov 16, 2019
Campbell ~ Margaret Mary (Siebert) Hirtz at the grand joyful of age of 94 (well almost 11/20/25) started her new adventure with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ Saturday Nov. 16.
Her husband, Jerome Hirtz, daughter Janie Ashcraft; parents Ben & Mena Siebert; grandson, Brad Hirtz; granddaughter, Amy Evers; sister, Gertrude Hirtz; brothers Daniel Siebert, Frederick Siebert, George Siebert, Wilfred Siebert and Bernard Siebert preceded her and (we are sure) has the celebration party all ready.
Marge started her life out during a time of uncertainty. She saw much change, much hardship, and much hope. She witnessed many advances, Automobiles, Airplanes, Telephones, Global Wars and Computers. She was part of the "Greatest Generation" and saw her beloved country go thru many transformations. Some were wonderful, some alarming. Thru all of that not a mean, negative word spoken about any of it.
Her children, Joyce Belcher (Wilbur); Jo Alice Hirtz, Jerry Hirtz (Philomena), Jack Hirtz (Brenda), Judy Hudson (Mike), Janie Ashcraft (Roy), Juanita Digges (Stephen), Jim Hirtz (Ann Marie), and Jacinta Weidenbenner (Edward) and all her 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 not yet here great-great grandson, sister, Doris Brauer all believe that these amazing things were second to what amazing mother she was. She excelled and we loved her.
Marge had an unwavering faith in God & a deep friendship/devotion to Mary, Jesus' mother. Thru her interventions, she was able to successfully raise her brood to adulthood.
She was head over heels in love with the boy who left her chocolates on the school bus, Jerome Hirtz. They married 11/27/47. He was her sweetheart to the very end.
In short, (as Jerome would say), Marge echoed with her wink, "Glad you got to see me!"
