Campbell ~ Marcil Bledsoe, 75 of Campbell, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Marcil, daughter of Luther Joe and Lottie Marie Carroll Tankersley, was born on Monday, September 4, 1944 in Shirley, Arkansas.

She was a factory worker having worked at McGee in Piggott, also was a cook, waitress and homemaker. She was a member of the General Baptist Church in Campbell.

Her survivors include two sons, Kenneth Bledsoe and Thomas Bledsoe (Cheryl) all of Campbell; one daughter, Ruby Bledsoe of Las Vegas, Nevada; eight grandchildren, Billy Bledsoe (Dana), Chelsea Bledsoe, Ashley Crane (Joe), Derek Bledsoe and Erick Bledsoe all of Campbell, Madeline Tiepelman of Las Vegas, Nevada, Whitney Kneir (Justin) of Poplar Bluff, David Belote (Mandi) of Piggott; thirteen great-grandchildren, Lawson Bledsoe, Laynee Bledsoe, Liam Bledsoe, Avery Tiepelman, Jaciee Kneir, Parker Kneir, Emmett Kneir, Bo Wade Kneir, Hope Crane, Faith Crane, Sawyer Crane and Daryl  Lee Belote and Cordelia Belote; three sisters, Geraldine Steward and Charlene Lightfoot both of Piggott, Thelma Singleton (Lennie) of Campbell; and one brother, Harold Tankersley (Rita) of Campbell; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Carolyn Jannetta Whorton, Marilyn Louise Lack and Maxine Edwards; and one brother, Raymond Tankersley.

Visitation will be from 12 – 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at the Landess Funeral Home of Campbell, with services beginning at 2 p.m., with Rev. Darren Baker officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell.

Landess of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
