Holcomb ~ Marce Dewayne Prewitt, 82 of Holcomb, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Dewayne, son of Edward and Rachel Hogg Prewitt, was born on Monday, January 24, 1938 in Holcomb, Missouri.

He was a United States Marine Corp Veteran; was an engineer for the Union Pacific Railroad; and was a member of the Maple Grove Baptist Church in Holcomb.

On November 14, 1964 in Campbell, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Joyce Paulette Burchell.  She survives.

Other survivors include three daughters, Karen Seeders (Danny) of Haltom City, Texas, Tammy Redden (Anthony Radford) of Clarkton, Helen Wellington (Jeremy) of Clarkton; one son, Marce D. Prewitt, Jr (Heidi) of Warrenton, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren, Sean O'Donoghue, Seayn O'Donoghue, Marce Seeders, Danyelle Seeders, Jayde Seeders, Anthony Brown, Kelsi Prewitt, Bryant Redden, Jessica King, Blake Wellington, Denise Wellington, Kaylee Wellington, Douglas Prewitt, Cody Prewitt and Cale Prewitt; five great-grandchildren, Peyton Prewitt, Aiden Prewitt, Ella Prewitt, Violet Patino & Riley O'Donoghue; and one sister, Helen Reynolds (Kenny) of Williamsville, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Welton Prewitt and one sister, Madge Finley.

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m., Thursday, February 6, 2020, at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell.  Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Friday, February 7, 2020 at the funeral home chapel.  Burial will follow at Loyd Cemetery in Holcomb.

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
