Glennonville – Lucille Regina Weidenbenner, 85 of Glennonville, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, Missouri.
Lucille, daughter of John George and Alma Marie Krapf Peters, was born on Wednesday, April 14, 1937 in Glennonville, Missouri.
She was a housewife and operator a daycare in her home and was a member of the St. Teresa Catholic Church and the Parish Altar Society in Glennonville.
On January 14, 1956 in Glennonville, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Cletus Robert Weidenbenner. He preceded her in death on February 23, 2013.
Her survivors include one daughter, Janet Kuper (Steve) of Malden; six sons, Curtis Weidenbenner (Stephanie) of Cape Girardeau, Fr. Joseph Weidenbenner of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Joplin, Mark Weidenbenner (Roxanne) of Glennonville, Edgar Weidenbenner (Becky) of Jackson, Edward Weidenbenner (Cindy) of Qulin, Cletus Ray Weidenbenner (Karen) of Glennonville; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and Betty Rose Griner of Colorado Springs, Colorado; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Jim Peters, Joe Peters, Clem Peters, Bill Peters and Al Peters; six sisters, Ann Marie Dye, Theresa Raymer, Clara Marie Husley, Christine Nowacki, Cecilia Kerperien and Freida Raymer.
Visitation will be from 5:30 - 8 p.m., Sunday, January 22, 2023 at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell with Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m., Monday, January 23, 2023 at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Glennonville, with Bishop Edward M. Rice and Father Joseph Weidenbenner officiating. Burial will follow at St. Teresa Cemetery in Glennonville.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Teresa Catholic School or to the Church Building Fund, at 40648 St. Hwy JJ, Campbell, MO 63933
Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Campbell will be arrangements.
