Loretta Irene Cartee, daughter of Ambress Thrasher and Myra Duncan Thrasher, was born on Friday, June 6, 1941 in Dudley, Missouri.  She departed this life on Friday, January 31, 2020 at the SSM Health DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, Missouri at the age of 78 years, 7 months and 25 days.

Loretta worked in customer service for Federal Mogul.  She was an avid golfer and loved to shop and go to lunch with family and friends. Later in life she became a devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan and would never miss a game. She was of the Baptist faith.

On Saturday, May 22, 1982, in Malden, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Printis Cartee. He survives.

Three Daughters: Rhonda Mozingo and husband, Jeff of St. Louis; Sharon Rottler and husband, Paul of St. Louis and Terri Henderson and Dan Boman of Rosebud, Missouri.

Two Sons: Jack Cartee and wife, Lisa of Jefferson City and DeWayne Cartee and wife Michelle of Jefferson City.

Two Sisters: Joyce Todd of Campbell and Glenda Spicer and husband, Howard of Piggott, Arkansas.

Brother: Junior Thrasher of Arlington, Texas

Many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald Thrasher and sister, Kathy Thrasher.

Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell with services beginning at 1 p.m., with Pastor Bryan Fakes officiating.  Burial will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
