Campbell ~ Loretta Jean Book, 78 of Campbell, passed away on Monday April 29, 2019 at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, Missouri.

Loretta, daughter of Edgar Earl and Leona Mae Hicks Swinney, was born on Sunday, November 3, 1940 in Malden, Missouri.

She was a florist and Methodist Minister.

She was united in marriage to Carl Ray Book.  He survives.

Other survivors include one son, Anthony Hickson and wife, Kimberly of Campbell; three daughters, Tracy Smith and husband, Jeffrey of Campbell, Tammy Hickson of Pollard, Arkansas, Terri Boisey of Campbell; ten grandchildren; twenty Great-Grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and one sister, Earla Mae Swinney of Kennett.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Steven Earl Hickson; one sister, Aileen Blansett and one brother, Henry Michael Swinney.

Visitation will be from 1 – 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell, with services beginning at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri.
