Festus ~ Lois Louise Ellis, 83 of Festus, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Hillcrest Care Center in DeSoto, Missouri.

Lois, daughter of Lois Combling Martin and Emma Ethel Null Williams, was born on Tuesday, April 20, 1937 in Kennett, Missouri.

She was a store clerk and was of the Protestant Faith.

On March 4, 1954 in Kennett, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Hubert Sylvester Ellis.  He preceded her in death on February 26, 2009.

Her survivors include one son, Jerry R. Ellis and wife, Georgia of Arlington, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Jeremy Ellis, Jacob Ellis and Jen Ellis; two special grandchildren, Jason William and Shakena Williams; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Floyd Everett Martin of Poplar Bluff and Ricky Lavon Williams of Festus.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lois Martin; step-father and mother, Bill Williams and Emma Williams; two brothers, Lonnie Martin and Billy Williams.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 12. 2020 at Landess Funeral Home in Campbell with funeral services beginning at 3 p.m. with Mr. James Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition in Campbell.

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
