Malden ~ Linn Franklin Dees, 73 of Malden, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at his residence in Malden, Missouri.

Linn, son of Delbert and Louise Mayberry Dees, was born on Monday, December 22, 1947 in Wilhelmina, Missouri.

He was owner and operator of his Insurance Agency in San Jose, California and was of the Catholic Faith.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served in the Vietnam War receiving three medals.

He spent the majority of his professional career in San Jose, California.  He retired in 2005 and spent the remainder of his life in Malden.  Linn was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend and he will be truly missed.

His survivors include, one brother, Del Dees and wife, Mary of San Jose, California; sister-in-law, Kay Dees of Malden; nephew, Rusty Dees of Phoenix, Arizona; niece, Debra Brady of Springfield; great-nieces and nephews, Sean, Kayla, Elizabeth, Emily and Emmett; Aunts, Mary Knott and Betty Christian both of St. Louis; numerous cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Larry Dees.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with funeral mass beginning at 12 noon, at St. Ann Catholic Church in Malden with Father Mark Binder officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery -Landess Addition in Campbell.

Landess Funeral Home of Malden will be in charge of the arrangements.
