Lindell "Buddy" James, 74 of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023, at his residence in Cherokee Village, AR.

Buddy, son of Willard Ora and Veneta Belle McGee James was born on March 16, 1949 in Poplar Bluff, MO.

On July 1, 1995 in Malden, MO, he was united in marriage to Jane L. Thompson. She survives of the home in Cherokee Village, AR.

He was the owner/operator of James Plumbing and Heating for 45 years. He was a local artist with many of his paintings displayed around town in Malden. He was a man of God and attended the Light in the Wilderness Church in Cherokee Village, AR.

Besides his wife, Jane, other survivors include a blended family of five children; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two bonus grandchildren; twin sister, Linda Robertson and three more loving sisters and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and a brother.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden beginning at 12 PM with funeral services following at 1 PM in the Landess Funeral Home chapel. Pastor Stan Jones and Amy Blough will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Kerri Jo James, Matthew Underwood, Tim Lewis, Butch Angelo, Drew Faulkner and Brandon Ogden.

Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory in Malden, Missouri are in charge of the arrangements.
