Bigelow, Arkansas ~ Leon Fredrick Friedman, 69 of Campbell, Missouri and also, Bigelow, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2019 in Bigelow, Arkansas.

Leon, son of Fred and Leona Petry Friedman, was born on Monday, September 18, 1950 in Wilhelmina.

He retired from Noranda and was of Catholic faith.

On January 17, 2008, in Bigelow, Arkansas he was united in marriage to Donna Darter.  She survives.

Other survivors include, two daughters, Michelle Johnson and husband, Jerry Don of Albia, Iowa, Summer Friedman and fiancé, Jared Southard of Campbell; four step-daughters, Michelle Rankin and husband, Jay of Perryville, Arkansas, Nicky Allen and husband, Stan and Billie Ann McCormick and husband, Bobby all of Bigelow, Bobbie Jo Fougerousse and husband, Nick of Morrilton, Arkansas; thirteen grandchildren, Jonathan Perkins, Dylan Perkins, Gunner Johnson, Kinsley Southard, Cody Johnson, Lane Embry, Christiana McKibbon, Amanda Bagley, Seth Johnson, Carter Brock, Will Fougerousse, Cael Fougerousse and Owen Fougerousse: five great-grandchildren; one sister, Ella Mae McHatton of Qulin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Anna Mae Siebert; brother, Joe Friedman and grandson, Shane Johnson

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Landess Funeral Home in Campbell with Rosary at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 10 a.m., at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Glennonville, MO with Father William Hennecke officiating. Burial followed in St. Teresa Cemetery.

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
