Leland Mallett, 83 of Malden was born on July 2, 1936 in Mallett Town, Arkansas to the late Elmer Mallett & Mildred Bizzell Mallett. He departed this life on Friday, May 15, 2020 at his residence in Malden.

Leland Mallett was a farmer and a truck driver. He was a member of the Spoonerville Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. On March 23, 1957 he was united in marriage to Shirley Barks. She survives of the home in Malden.

Son: Tommy Glenn Mallett & wife, Kathy of Gulfport, Mississippi. Daughter: Sandra Kasinger & husband, Danny of Malden.

5 Grandchildren: Tommy Logan Mallett, Salina Sieferd, Stacey Young, Jason Kasinger & Josh Kasinger.

11 Great-grandchildren: Elijah Kasinger, Willow Kasinger, Agustus Kasinger, Lauren Kasinger, Jase Kasinger, Melina Sieferd, Emilye Sieferd & Carter Sieferd, Masyn Young, McKinley Young & Addison Young. Sisters: Earline Ligons, Elsie Rasco, Twila Miller & twin sister: Lillian Dock. Brother: Terry Mallett

He was preceded in death by his son: Kevin Dale Mallett and his  parents.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18, 2020 from 6-8 P.M.at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the Landess Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Richard Blagg officiating.

Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden,
