LaToya Denise Burton 37, of Kokomo, Indiana was born in Kennett, Missouri to Grace (Tony) Reed and Fred (Tina) Burton on January 12, 1983. She departed this life on Monday, July 20, 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana. LaToya attended Kokomo High School and was the Director of the Kokomo Urban Outreach Up program and a homemaker. She loved to cook and socialize with family and friends.

Her survivors include: Parents, her children: Jyrena Jackson and Jirique Burton. Sisters: Courtney Wilson of Kokomo, Jessica (Nasan) Lane of Malden, Jessica Burton of Malden and Jerrica Lynn Burton from Malden.  Brothers: Derek Burton of Kokomo, Jonathan Burton & Tonya Gardener of Poplar Bluff, Richard (Mindy) Kimball of Malden and Raymond (Savannah) Kimball of Malden. Niece: Zyonna Wilson of Kokomo. Nephew: Zakye Wilson of Kokomo. Very special friends: Brooke Myers, Jeremy Beard, Tiffany Young and Jasper Roberts.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2020 at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden, Missouri from 10-11 A.M. Graveside services will follow at 11:00 A.M. at Macedonia Cemetery in Malden, Missouri with Reverend Leroy Young officiating.
