Larry Wright, Jr. passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday October 4, 2025 at his residence in Louisville, Kentucky at the age of 50 years, 5 months, and 15 days.  Larry was born on Saturday April 19, 1975 in Dexter, Missouri to Larry Wright, Sr. and Diane Willis Wright.  He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force and was of the Christian faith. He later worked as a warehouse steel worker in Louisville.

Larry was united in marriage to Betty Reid.  She survives of Malden.  Other survivors include:  his mother, Diane Wright of Louisville, KY; father Larry Wright, Sr.; daughters, Lakylah Wright and Dyneisha Wright; son, Tyler Walker all of Malden, Missouri; sisters, Kimerly Chillers of Jefferson City, Missouri; Kendra Wright of Malden, Missouri; Donnetta Wright of Memphis, Tennessee; and brother, Demetrius Gaines of Parma, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Vistitation will begin at 11:00 AM Saturday October 11, 2025 at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden and continue until service time at 12:00 PM Saturday October 11, 2025 in the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Pastor Bruce Britton officiating.  Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery in Malden with full military honors.  Landess Funeral Home of Malden is in charge of the arrangements.
