Larry Junior Tanner

Larry Junior Tanner, 74 of Bernie, was born on April 27, 1944 in Puxico Missouri to the late Virgil G. Tanner and Helen G. Tanner. He departed this life on Friday, June 22, 2018 at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Larry Junior Tanner was a truck driver and was a member of the Poplar Bluff VFW Post 6477. Mr. Tanner had served in the US Navy and the US Army.

His survivors include:
3 Sons: Keith Tanner & wife, Michelle of Michigan, Mark Tanner & wife, Priscilla of El Paso, Texas and David Tanner of El Paso, Texas.
4 Daughters: Sherry Tanner of Kentucky, Laura Tanner of El Paso, Texas, Nancy Tanner of El Paso, Texas and Wendy Tanner of El Paso, Texas.
Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Girlfriend: Sonya Rosenthal of Bernie.
2 Brothers: Gene Tanner of Wauchula, Florida and John Tanner of Wauchula, Florida.
3 Sisters: Hope Harris of Wauchula, Florida, Donna Skipper of Wauchula, Florida and Deanna Tanner of Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri at 2:00 P.M.

Interment will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
