Campbell ~ Larry Earl Ricks, 88 of Flower Mound, Texas, formerly of Campbell, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025.
Larry, son of Glen and Bernice Evelyn Broyles Ricks, was born on Saturday, September 11, 1937, in Campbell, Missouri.
On August 15, 1964, he married the love of his life, June Elizabeth Vaughn, in Clarkton, Missouri. Larry and June shared 32 wonderful years of marriage together, raising their family first in Sussex, WI before later moving to Geneva, IL. Their life together was full of love, laughter, and shared passions. They enjoyed cheering on all of Wisconsin's sports teams, with the Milwaukee Brewers holding a special place in their hearts. June proceeded him in death on December 3, 1996, and her memory remained a cherished part of Larry's life.
Larry proudly served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1962. Following his service, he built a long and dedicated career as a Customer Service Manager with American Can, retiring in 2000. After retirement, he moved to Flower Mound, TX where he enjoyed many years surrounded by family.
Larry was a deeply devoted grandfather, known for showing up, without fail, to every baseball game, soccer match and ice-skating competition. He was a constant source of encouragement for his grandchildren.
His survivors include son, Steve Ricks (Brenda) of Flower Mound, Texas; daughter, Elizabeth Bradish (Chad) of Arlington Heights, Illinois; grandchildren, Jake Ricks of Salt Lake City, Utah, Ella Ricks of Flower Mound, Texas and Lily Bradish of Arlington Heights, Illinois.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and sister, Sue Perkins.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Landess Funeral Chapel with funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Reverend Aulden LeBlanc will be officiating. Burial will follow at Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri.
Landess Funeral Home of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
