Malden ~ Larry Ray Brooks, 64 of Malden, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Larry, son of Herman Sterling Brooks and Lillie Kathleen Hoard Brooks Calder, was born on Friday, August 1, 1958 in Gideon, Missouri.

He was a Certified Plumber and was of the Baptist Faith.

On January 6, 1978, in Malden, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Wilma Elaine Mims.  She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Travis Brooks of Malden, Donny Brooks and fiancé, Racheal of Malden; four grandchildren, Kendra Brooks and fiancé, Brandon of Malden, Patrick Brooks of Malden, Autumn Light and husband, Steven of Bernie, Ray Lynn Brooks of Malden; great-grandsons, Cooper James Light of Bernie and Toby Yount of East Prairie; one brother, Jerry Brooks; sisters, Virginia Davison and Bertha Winchester; several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Viola Brooks; his brother, James Brooks; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, November 11, 2022, from 6-8 PM at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden.  The funeral service will be Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 2 PM at Landess Funeral Chapel with Mr. James Powell officiating.  Interment will be in Rosewood 1 ^st Addition Cemetery in Malden.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Malden will be in charge of the arrangements.
