Larry Dale Barnes, Jr., 60 of Lake Wappapello, son of Larry Dale, Sr. and Lois Jean DeMay Barnes was born in Kennett, Missouri on Saturday, October 5, 1963. He departed this life on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at his home in Lake Wappapello.

Larry was a retired supervisor at Marine Terminal in Blytheville, Arkansas.

On January 4, 2002, in Piggott, Arkansas, he was united in marriage to Pamela Jane Bowen. She preceded him in death on August 13, 2007.

He is survived by nephew, Matthew Cade Barnes and wife, Jodi of Lilbourn; great-nephew, Cade Wilson Barnes; great-nieces, Avery Jo Barnes and Amelia Lynn Barnes all of Lilbourn; nephew, William C. Morgan and wife, Rebecca; great nieces Allison Morgan, Alyssa Pollard and Hannah Whitlow; great nephews, William Dean Morgan and Brice Pollard all of Dexter; step-son, Chris Bowen and wife, Kami; step-grandchildren, Jaden, Chris and Rhett Bowen all of Kennett; sister, Melissa "Missy Barnes" Morgan and husband, Kerry of Malden; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends.

In addition to his wife, Pamela Barnes, he was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Paulette Cooper Barnes.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with W.C. Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Horner Cemetery in Hornersville, Missouri.
