Ladonna Faye Brooks, 66 of Clarkton, was born on July 17, 1951 in Bement, Missouri to the late Landon Sterling & Mary Alice Stone Sterling. She departed this life on Friday, June 29, 2018 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Ladonna Faye Brooks was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal Faith. She was united in marriage to Jerry Brooks on July 17, 1988 in Clarkton.

Her survivors include:
Husband: Jerry Brooks of Clarkton.
Daughters: Mary Lou Hodges of East Prairie and Larickei Brooks of Clarkton.
Son: James R. Hodges & wife, Mary Ann of East Prairie.
Grandsons: Austin Hodges & Dylan Hodges of East Prairie.
Granddaughters: Madison, Ashlyn & Jaclyn Christian of East Prairie.
Brothers: William "Bo" Sterling & wife, Carmella of Charleston and Landon Eugene Sterling of Gideon.
Sisters: Phyliss Marks & husband, William of Sikeston, Dorothy Patrick of Charleston and Wilma Ortega of Las Vegas, NV.
Several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandson: Spike Hodges, brother: Albert Sterling and sisters: Mary Opal Brooks & Ruthie Mae Sterling.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 6-8 P.M. at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 1:00 P.M at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with Brother Joe McCullough officiating.

Interment will be in the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri.
