Campbell  ~ Kristi Ann Whiteside Thornton of Campbell went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 30, 2018  at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

She was born Thursday, October 5, 1967 to Kenneth and Dottie Whiteside of Paragould, Arkansas, who survives.

She married Jay Thornton of Campbell, on June 22, 2005 in Benton, who survives.

Kristi was a lover of anything outdoors, her yard, her plants and her pets.

Kristi was a member of the Lutheran Church in Sikeston and was a Quality Control Officer for the Missouri Department of Mental Health.

Kristi is also survived by two sisters, Dana Ladymon and Michelle Burnett both of Paragould.  She also loved her two nieces, Molly Dillard and Abbey Burnett and nephew, Alex Burnett. The delight of her eyes was her great-niece Journee Dillard.  Kristi was loved by her mother and father-in-law, Carolyn and Jim Scott and her sister-n-law, Denise Hayes; nieces, Shana Wagster & Chelsey Wagster and nephew, Justin Wagster.

Kristi was preceded in death by her grandparents, Anna May and Carlon McDonald and Byron Whiteside and Ella and Ezra Davis.  Also, preceding her in death was her brother in-law, Neal Ladymon and her father-in-law, Jim Thornton.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell, with the funeral services beginning at 12 noon with Randall Baker officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Henderson, Josh Hogan, Kim Campbell, Rick Campbell, Raymond Gunter and Mike Philpot.
