Holcomb ~ Kevin "Pork Chop" Lee Nelson, 57 of Holcomb, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Missouri

Kevin, son of Joseph Garlin and Nancy Bullinger Nelson, was born on Wednesday, December 29, 1965 in Kennett, Missouri.

He was a truck driver and of the Baptist Faith.

His survivors include his mother, Nancy Nelson of Holcomb; three brothers, Joe Nelson, Jr. and wife, Kim and Jerry Nelson all of Holcomb; Steve Nelson and wife, Tina of Springdale, Arkansas; two step-daughters, Dena Irwin of Cleveland, Arkansas, Heather Davis and husband, Brent of Piggott; several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Garlin Nelson; two step-daughters, Kristie Steinbach and Brandy Johnson.

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m., Friday, May 19, 2023 at Landess Funeral Home in Campbell, Missouri. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Landess Funeral Chapel with Pam Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn-Landess Addition Cemetery in Campbell, Missouri.

Pallbearers will be nephews and son-in-law, Joseph Nelson, Jacob Nelson, Trystan Nelson, Michael Nelson, Mason Nelson and Brent Davis. Honorary Pallbearer, Curtis Pollard.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Campbell are in charge of the arrangements.
