Campbell ~ Kenneth Roy Barton, 85 of Campbell, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Kenneth, son of Louis Roy and Sophia Marie Antonette Hall Barton, was born on Monday, June 4, 1934 in Elk City, Oklahoma.

In his younger days he was a livestock inspector for the State of Arizona and loved cattle.  In Missouri, he was a local truck driver and was of the Baptist faith.  He was a Veteran of the United States Army.

On Sunday, January 26, 1963, in Las Vegas, Nevada, he was united in marriage to Carol Bomar.  She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Kenneth Barton, Jr. (Sandra) of Waukomis, Oklahoma, Michael Barton of Tucson, Arizona; two daughters, Theresa Barton of Campbell, Amy Clyburn (Larry) of Poplar Bluff; twelve grandchildren, Catherine Barton, Caitlin Coughlin, Nick Barton, Heather West-McWhorter, Shane West, Aiden Welch, Alyson Clyburn, Nick Clyburn, Emaly Clyburn, A.J. Clyburn, Jason Barton and Jenny Barton; six great-grandchildren, Kylynn Barton, Hannah Barton, Brison Barton, Nathan Barton, Connor Coughlin and Cora Coughlin; three sisters, Louise McGonigle, Juanita Jean Carlson, Barbara Ruth Wakefield and two brothers, Donald Ray Barton and Gene Earl Barton all of Glendale, Arizona. Many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Brian Barton; four sisters, Gertrude Adams, Elizabeth Ann Coots, Kathyleen May LePur and Eileen Antoneete Popoff and an infant, brother and sister, George and Margaret.

A Celebration of Life from 1 – 3 p.m., Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell with Memorial Service beginning at 3 p.m.

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
