Holcomb – Kathy Schubert McElwrath, 56 of Holcomb, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at her residence in Holcomb, Missouri.

Kathy, daughter of Carl Edward and Margaret Doris Okker Schubert, was born on Friday, July 11, 1969 in Belleville, Illinois.

She was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church in Holcomb, Missouri

Her survivors include her father, Carl Schubert of Campbell; husband, David Leadbetter of Holcomb; daughters, Kristen Holmes of Paragould, Chelsea McElwrath of Holcomb, Missy Watt of Arkansas, Carmen Espinoza of Port LaBelle, Florida, Trina Auler (Joey) of Senath, Gena Cooper (Adam) of Paragould; sons, Kyle McElwrath of Missouri, Nicholas Leadbetter of Joplin; grandchildren, Tempy Allen, Skylar and Parker Shipman, Zachary Stanley, Zaden Auler, Zane Auler, Zaley Auler, Zaniel Auler, Zachston Auler, Mia Wilson, Miley Wilson, Mckayla Espinoza, Maddie Cooper, Ethan and Evan Cooper; sisters, Kim Hickson (Andy) of Campbell, Karla Martin of Texas, Kristy Schubert of Campbell; and several nieces and nephews,

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Schubert and brother, Carl Schubert, III.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m., Monday, January 5, 2026 at the Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition, with Reverend Randy Vaughn officiating.  Burial will immediately follow.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Campbell are in charge of the arrangements.
