Karla Jo Hicks 54, of Campbell, Missouri passed away at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas on Sunday, July 5, 2026.Born Monday, August 9, 1971, in Kennett, MO., Karla was the daughter of Betty and James Green. Karla worked as the Secretary at the Campbell R-II School District in Campbell, MO and was a faithful member of Landmark Pentecostal Church in Malden.

She enjoyed playing music and singing, and cherished every moment spent with family and friends. She could often be found at Silver Dollar City, happily making time for the things she loved most. 

On May 13, 2000, in Piggott, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Robert Hicks. They built a life together filled with love, faith and treasured memories. He preceded her in death on June 20, 2026.

Her survivors include, one daughter; Destiny Watson and husband, Stephen, of Gould, Arkansas. Son; Chad Hicks and wife, Casey, of Paragould, Arkansas. Nine grandchildren, Tristan, McKayla, Gavan, Braydan, McKenna, Remington, Emmie, Ellie and Stephen

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents Betty and James Green and one Granddaughter Elizabeth Watson.

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m., Friday, July 10, 2026 at Landmark Pentecostal Church in Malden. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Landmark Pentecostal Church in Malden with Pastor Leroy Young and Assistant Pastor Andrew Young officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition in Campbell.
