Karen Anita Snider, daughter of the late Millard Snider and Muriel Winters Snider, was born on Tuesday November 1, 1955 in Gideon, Missouri.

She departed this life on Tuesday July 2, 2024 in Creve Coeur, Missouri at the age of 68 years, 8 months, and 1 day.

Karen was a homemaker and had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Karen was united in marriage to Billy Gene Brock.  He preceded her in death on October 18, 2020.  Also preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, Auther W. Baum; and one sister, Cleta Sullivan.

Her survivors include:  4 daughters, Sidney Brock and James Downing of Malden; Robin Snider and life partner Joe Whitaker of Cuba, Missouri; Stacey Hill and husband Thomas of Malden; Tracey Crawford and husband Troy of Piggott, Arkansas;  3 sons, Steve Brock of Malden; William Phillips and wife Belinda and Michael Phillips and wife Ashley all of Dexter, Missouri; 2 sisters, Ann Sanders of Belleview, Missouri and Janet Hemby and husband Jack of Zalma, Missouri; 2 brothers, Robert Snider of St. Louis, Missouri and Ronnie Snider of Dexter, Missouri and 16 grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM  Monday July 8, 2024 at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.  The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM Monday July 8, 2024 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden.   Interment will be in Rosewood 1st Addition Cemetery in Malden.  Landess Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
