Campbell ~ Junior Baker, 83 of Campbell, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at his residence in Campbell, Missouri.

Junior, son of Amos Clyde and Lennie Edith Oliver Baker, was born on Thursday, July 3, 1941 in Campbell, Missouri.

He was in sales with construction and termite work.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Campbell, a very devout Christian and led many people to Christ.  He was a strong solid foundational person, loved basketball (played into his early 70's) and sports.

He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps (Recon) Special Forces having served during the Vietnam War.

On July 7, 1983 in Kennett, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Debra K. Thompson.  She survives of the home.

Other survivors include three daughters, Jana Baker and Mika Siebert and husband, Jeremy all of Campbell, Misti Hill of Jonesboro; son, Mike Baker and wife, Lisa of Dexter; nine grandchildren, Lauren Chyann Grantham and husband, Adam, Shea Baker, Kaden Siebert, Blake Belcher, Harley Hamlett, Conor Siebert, Kennan Siebert, Wyatt Janson and Carson Belcher; one brother, Donald Baker and wife Opal of Florida and one sister, Lois Housman and husband, Ron of Michigan; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Raymond Baker; two sisters, Gladys Swiney and Wanda Stewart.

Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m., Friday, November 15, 2024 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell, Missouri, with funeral service beginning at 1 p.m., with Reverend Randy Deprow officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition in Campbell, Missouri.
