Holcomb ~ Joyce Paulette Prewitt, 79 of Holcomb, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at her residence in Holcomb.

Paulette, daughter of Lindsay Aaron and Emily Weldon Burchell, was born on Thursday, April 9, 1942 in Gideon, Missouri.

She was a bookkeeper, a member of the Maple Grove Baptist Church in Holcomb and taught Sunday School for many years.  She was like a mother/grandmother to everyone. She loved sports and was a true matriarch.

On November 14, 1964, in Campbell, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Marce Dewayne Prewitt.  He preceded her in death on February 2, 2020.

Her survivors include three daughters, Karen Seeders (Danny) of Haltom City, Texas, Tammy Redden (Anthony Radford) of Clarkton, Helen Wellington (Jeremy) of Clarkton; one son, Marce D. Prewitt, Jr (Heidi) of Warrenton, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren, Sean O'Donoghue, Seayn O'Donoghue, Marce Seeders, Danyelle Seeders, Jayde Seeders, Anthony Brown, Kelsi Prewitt, Bryant Redden, Jessica King, Blake Wellington, Denise Wellington, Kaylee Wellington, Douglas Prewitt, Cody Prewitt and Cale Prewitt; five great-grandchildren, Peyton Prewitt, Aiden Prewitt, Ella Prewitt, Violet Patino & Riley O'Donoghue; one sister, Doris Barnes (Charles) of Illinois; one brother, L.C. Burchell of Holcomb.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Carl Burchell and Carl Burnett; three sisters, Viola Keeling, Leona Beasley and Pauline Beasley.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.  Funeral service will be at 12 noon, Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell with Reverend Stephen Watkins officiating.  Burial will be in Loyd Cemetery in Holcomb, Missouri.

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
