Joy Elizabeth Earnheart (March 21, 2021 - March 22, 2021) Joy Elizabeth Earnheart was born on Sunday, March 21 at 10:01 pm at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to parents Benjamin and Monica (Wood) Earnheart, of Malden, Missouri. Despite her early arrival, she brought much anticipated elation to the expectant first-time parents—weighing 2 pounds, 11 ounces and measuring 15 inches long. Before Joy departed to her heavenly home on the afternoon of Monday, March 22, she was able to experience unyielding love, hugs and kisses from her father, mother, and grandparents who were by her side as the angels carried her home. Though her time on earth was short, Joy Elizabeth has left a lasting impact on us all. Joy is celebrated by surviving great grandparent–Patricia Earnheart of Malden, grandparents–Charles "Chuck" and Stephanie Earnheart of Malden, and Darell and Myra Wood of Risco; aunts and uncles–Joey and Amy Baker of Risco, Luke and Casey Carter of Malden, and Ellen Wood of Puxico; and cousins–McClain and Landon Baker, Nate Lewis, Nolan and Nash Carter, and Gabe and Chace Williamson. She is also celebrated by her extended family and friends. Joy is being greeted in heaven by her great grandparents–Charles Earnheart, Sr, Robert and Sandra Shaw, Wallace and Ida Wood, and Bill and Dora Keaster; and great aunts and uncles–Anastacia Shaw, Don and Alene Wood, and Doris Wood.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden from 2-3 P.M. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 P.M. with Reverend Kenny Burchard officiating.

Private interment will be in Rosewood Cemetery.
