Holcomb ~ Joseph 'Bud' Garlin Nelson, 84 Holcomb, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at his residence in Holcomb, Missouri

Joseph, son of Robert L. and Sleety Burgett Nelson, was born on Friday, December 11, 1936 in Huffman, Arkansas.

He worked for Emerson for over 40 years and was of the Baptist Faith.  He was a Veteran of the United States Army.

On March 30, 1962, in Rector, Arkansas, he was united in marriage to Nancy Bullinger.  She survives.

Other survivors include, four sons, Joe Nelson, Jr. and wife, Kim, Jerry Nelson, and Kevin Nelson all of Holcomb, Steve Nelson and wife, Tina of Springdale, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Kassandra Dalton (Jeff), Stephanie Mendoza (Jesus), Joseph (Trai) Nelson III (Autumn), Jacob Nelson (Dallas), Trystan Nelson, Michael Nelson (Victoria), Mason Nelson; 14 Great-Grandchildren; brother, Ray Nelson (Louise) of Millikin, Colorado and sister, Rachel Lytle of Morrilton, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Grady, Henry, Fred, Robert, Othell, Guin & Glen; sisters, Mildred Garner, Margie Bates & Willie Walls and four great-angel babies.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021 at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Landess Funeral Chapel, in Campbell, Missouri with Pam Nelson officiating.  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition in Campbell.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Joseph Nelson, Jacob Nelson Trystan Nelson, Michael Nelson, Mason Nelson and Jesus Mendoza

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
