Malden - Joseph Henry Eskew, 80 of Malden, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at the Ridgeview Living Community in Malden.

Joe, son of James Eskew and Dolly Eskew, was born on Wednesday, August 31, 1938 in Malden, Missouri.

He was a local business man and served in the United States Air Force.

He was united in marriage to Betty Joe Eskew, she preceded him in death.

His survivors include two granddaughters, Lorie Barnes of Vandalia, Missouri, Cynthia Abernathy of Springfield, Missouri; two great-grandchildren, Devon Odom and wife, Molly of Gentry, Arkansas and Macey Abernathy of Springfield, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings; step daughter, Karen Sue Christian and great-grandchild, Lacey Odom.

Visitation will be from 1 – 2 p.m., Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.  Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden with Mr. James Powell officiating.  Burial will follow.
