Campbell ~ John Leroy King, 85 of Campbell, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at his residence in Campbell.

John, son of James King and Mary Graham Moses, was born on Monday, May 1, 1933 in Rector, Arkansas.

He was a retired Police Dispatcher for the Campbell Police Department and was a member of the First Assembly of God in Campbell.

His survivors include one daughter, Shiela Besch of Texas; one son, Herbie Hicks of Colorado; one grandson, Shawn Bendelc; one granddaughter, Tiffany; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth King of Campbell, Dorothy Chambers of Michigan; five half-sisters, Elsie, Marie, Vera, Ruby & Mary; three half-brothers, James, Ollie & Roy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, John F. King; one daughter, Charlene Snow; four half-brothers, Grover "Bud", Arlis, Albert, & Lester and one half-sister, Geraldine.

A memorial service will at 2 p.m., Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the First Assembly of God Church in Campbell with Reverend Bruce Vinson and Reverend Jim Davis Officiating.
