John Leo Duck, 64 of Clarkton formerly of Malden, was born to the late Wayne Hickman Duck and Linda Louise McGill Duck, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on January 30, 1956. He departed this life on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at his residence in Clarkton, Missouri.

John Duck was a truck driver and was of the Baptist faith. John served in the U S Navy from 1974-9178.

His survivors include: Daughter: Misty Jean Everett of Malden. Son: Stephen John Duck of Malden. Sister: Lois Ann Barks & husband, James of Malden. 4 Brothers: Jimmy Wayne Duck of Malden, Alvin Wayne Slayton of Malden, Donald Gene Duck of Malden and Jerry Lee Duck & wife, Debbie of Parma.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, brother: Jimmy Ray Slayton and sister: Carolyn Marie Duck Slayton.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 23, 2020 at the Landess Funeral Home chapel in Malden from 12:30-1:30 P.M. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Mr. James Powell officiating.

Interment will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
