John E. "Doc" Barnett was born on September 20, 1965 in St. Louis, Missouri to Barbara Jordan Barnett and the late Leslie Barnett. He departed this life on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at his residence in Cape Girardeau at the age of 53.

John E. "Doc" Barnett was a CNA and was united in marriage to Linda Bradley on March 1, 2010 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She survives of the home.

His other survivors include:
6 Sons: Charlie Bradley& wife, Chelsea of Cape Girardeau, Trucker McClish of South Carolina, Logan McMillen of Piggott, Arkansas, Justin McMillen of Paragould, Arkansas, Seth Calder of Cape Girardeau and Brendan Calder of Cape Girardeau.
2 Brothers: Mark Morris of Clarkton and David Barnett of Tennessee
2 Sisters: Nellie Barnett of Cape Girardeau and Lezley Guyton of Clarkton.
Mother: Barbara Barnett of Clarkton

He was preceded in death by his Father & nephew: Brandon Barnett.

Visitation will be held Saturday June 29, 2019 from 12 - 2 P.M. at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.

Graveside funeral services will follow on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri.

Internment will be in Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri.
