Campbell – Joe Dyke Swafford, 77 of Campbell, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at the NHC Healthcare in Kennett.

Joe Dyke, son of Raymond Dyke and Rachel Jane Cravens Swafford, was born on Friday, April 23, 1948, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

He was Office Manager for the State of Missouri Work Force Development and a member of the Church of Christ.  He was a United States Navy Veteran having served during the Vietnam War.

On April 3, 1971 in Campbell, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Linda Gail Jacques.  She survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Kari Elizabeth Lemings and husband, Spencer of Gideon, Kristin Leigh Pierce and husband, Shane of Merritt Island, Florida; three grandchildren, Hunter Swafford of Malden, Maleigh Elizabeth Lemings and Ella Jane Lemings both of Gideon and great-granddaughter, Paisley Nicole Swafford; a host of nieces and nephews; and best granddog, Lola.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell.  Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 31, 2025 at the Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. James Powell and Mr. Darrell Simon officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Children's Home, Inc. 5515 Walcott Rd., Paragould, AR 72450
