JoAnn Smithson, daughter of the late Elmer Graham & Pearl Waller Doan was born June 2, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the age of 79.

JoAnn was a homemaker and was united in marriage to Bobby Smithson on December 27, 1965 in Benton Harbor, Michigan. He survives of the home.

Her other survivors include: Daughter: Wendi Jenkins & husband, Anthony of Ellsinore, Missouri. Son: Steven Smithson of Eminence, Kentucky. Several grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Brother: Ray Doan of Bernie, Missouri.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents and 2 daughters: Bobbi Starnes & Lori Smithson.
