Wappapello – Jimmy Dale Isbell, 78 of Wappapello, formerly of Campbell, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Jimmy, son of Melvin Charles and Oberlon Holmes Isbell, was born on Monday, May 26, 1947 in Kennett, Missouri.

He worked for Blackwell-Baldwin in auto body repair; he was of the Baptist Faith; and a member of the Corner Store in Wappapello.  He was a member of the National Guard.

On July 6, 1995 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Debbie Klien.  She preceded him in death on September 13, 2014.

His survivors include, daughters, Kerri Morgan and husband, Shannon of Dexter, Rhonda Mitchell and husband, Tim of Sikeston; step-sons, Dereck Graves of Poplar Bluff, Dustin Graves and wife Tosha of Poplar Bluff; sister, Bonnie Campbell of Kennett; grandchildren, Zac Morgan, Will Morgan, Abbey Hemby and husband, Adam, Thomas Mitchell, Isabell Mitchell; great-granddaughter, Kensley Edwards; step-grandchildren, Alexis Kendle, Levi Graves, Tyler Graves, Sahara Graves and Ally Graves.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Isbell, O. L. Isbell and sister, Dixie Hogan.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m., Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Landess Funeral Home in Campbell, Missouri with funeral services beginning at 2 p.m., with Reverend Tim Schultz officiating. Burial will follow at Little Brushy Cemetery in Wappapello, Missouri.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Mitchell, Zac Morgan, Levi Graves, Tyler Graves, Dereck Graves and Dustin Graves.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Campbell are in charge of the arrangements.
