Jerry Bradford Mims was born on Tuesday January 7, 1969 in Dale, Illinois to the late David Roy Mims, Sr. and Wilma Beatrice Hess Mims.  He departed this life on Monday January 1, 2024 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center at the age of 54 years, 11 months, and 25 days.  Jerry worked at Wal Mart in the auto care department and was of the Pentecostal faith.

His survivors include:  three sisters, Lily Ervin of Grayridge, Missouri; Elaine Brooks of Malden, Missouri; and Reba McDonald of Dexter, Missouri; three brothers, David Mims of Malden, Missouri, Wayne Mims of Catron, Missouri, and Everett Mims of Dexter, Missouri; and step son, Trevor Burnham of Nashville, Tennessee.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents David and Wilma Mims, one sister, Barbara Yarbrough, six brothers James Mims, Manuel Mims, Ronald Mims, Leland Mims, Mervin Mims, and Jeff Mims.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM until service time Thursday January 4, 2024 at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.  The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM Thursday January 4, 2024 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Mr. Walt Spence officiating.  Interment will be in Rosewood First Addition Cemetery in Malden, Missouri.
