Campbell ~ Jerome Xavier Blume, 80 of House Springs and Glennonville, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022 at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas.

Jerome, son of Xavier Anthony and Mary Theresia Bader Blume, was born on Friday, March 21, 1941 in Glennonville, Missouri.

He was a Carpenter and was a member of the St. Teresa Catholic Church in Campbell.

He was first married to Mary Finder with this union they had seven children.

On August 19, 1977, in Clayton, he was united in marriage to Sandra Kay Schmidt.  She preceded him in death on March 24, 2008.

His survivors include seven children, Sandy Tompkins of Pollard, Jerry Blume (Lollie) of Poplar Bluff, Kevin Blume (Darla) of Imperial, Paula Benbrook (Jeff) of Piggott, Gina Brewer (Jeff) of Corning, Sheila Stone (Billy) of Jonesboro, Tom Blume (Ashlie) of Jonesboro; fourteen grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Agnes Sheets of Imperial; one sister-in-law, Joan Blume of Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one great-granddaughter; two sisters, Frieda Eaton, Sr. Clara Ann Blume, OSF; three brothers, John Blume, Louis Blume and Edward Blume.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., Friday, January 7, 2022 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell with rosary at 7 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, January 8, 2022 at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Campbell with Father Victor Anokwute officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Teresa Cemetery in Campbell.

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
