Poplar Bluff ~ Jeffrey Lynn Smith, 62 of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 at his residence in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Jeffrey, son of Duane and Mary Margaret McGee Smith, was born on Sunday, October 18, 1959 in Granite City, Illinois.

He was of the Catholic Faith.

On August 4, 1979 in Campbell, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Tracy Jo Hickson.  She survives.

Other survivors include three daughters, Brandy Johnson of Campbell, Kimberly Scarlet of Holcomb, Stephanie Strickland and husband, Anson of Poplar Bluff; eight grandchildren, Tristin Scarlet, Tyler Scarlet, Jayden Strickland, Kinlee Strickland, Dyson Strickland, Therron Scheffler, Sebastian Johnson and Alexander Johnson; great-grandchild, Skyler Martin-Scarlet; three sisters, Mary Margaret Thompson, Karen Burson, Pamela Bonaldi and husband, Al; two brothers, Duane Smith and wife, Helen and Wayne Smith; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
