Jean Ann Davidson, 89 of Malden, was born to the late Robert Emmett and Caroline Seward Davis in Bloomfield, Missouri on March 25, 1933. She departed this life on Monday, January 16, 2023 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Jean Davidson did many things in her life. She worked at Brown Shoe for seven years, was a short-order cook at fast food restaurants, outreach worker at Daeoc, caretaker in the Home Health industry for over 11 years, worked at St. Bernards for five years, teacher aide for a year, an ordained missionary, a foster parent for 13 years, girl scout leader for several years and was a member of the Bethesda MB Church in Malden. She was united in marriage to Max Davidson in Bloomfield on March 15, 1955. He preceded her in death in 1989.

Her other survivors include, one grandson, Glen Edward Barris, Jr. of Jonesboro, Arkansas; six great grandchildren, Dawin Shamar Barris, Kaley Barris, Kalia Barris Justice, Jahleel Barris, Grayson Barris and Amara Everett; adopted grandson, Steven Blackiston and a sister, Juanita Price of Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy Ann Davidson; granddaughter, Caroline Maxine Barris; three sisters, Darlen Armstead, Christine Davis, Rev. Evangelist Margaret Smith and brother, Robert Emmett Davis, Jr.

Visitation will begin at 12 noon on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden, Missouri, with services beginning at 1 p.m., with with Rev. Roger Fowler officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood 1st Addition Cemetery in Malden
