Jason Todd Roberts, son of Russell Huston Roberts and Dorothy Jean Hagood Stephens, was born on Wednesday August 1, 1973 in Dexter, Missouri. He passed away peacefully with his loving wife Angie by his side on Wednesday June 25, 2025 at his residence in Kennett, Missouri at the age of 51 years, 10 months, and 25 days. Jason served in the United States Air Force and was a riverboat captain for 20+ years. He loved his family, loved shoes, loved to play golf, never met a stranger and always had a smile. Jason was a member of Lynn Oak General Baptist Church in Clarkton.
On March 9, 2012 Jason Todd Roberts was united in marriage to the love of his life Angie Denise Harmon in Piggott, Arkansas. She survives of the home in Kennett.
Other survivors include: daughter, Brittany Summers (Gary) of Dexter; sons, Cameron Branch (Chelsea) of Jonesboro and Chase Branch (Chelsea) of Gideon; grandchildren, Caiden Whitlock, Oaklea Branch, Zoey Summers, Jude Branch, Ridge Branch, Lily Branch; father, Russell H. Roberts (Momma Susan) of Senath; bonus father, JR Stephens of Osceola; sisters, Tabatha "Tabo" Hart of Ellsinore, Melissa Calvert (Tim) of Osceola; April Alridge (Jimmy) of Dexter; brother Russell F. Roberts of Osceola; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tom and Sharon Harmon of Kennett; brother-in-law, Tim Harmon of Malden; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a slew of friends including his boat family.
Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Jean Stephens; brothers, Shannon Hart and Trent Stephens; and nephew Jacob Todd Calvert.
Visitation will be from 5 PM to 7 PM Friday June 27, 2025 at Lynn Oak Church in Clarkton. The funeral service will be at 2 PM Saturday June 28, 2025 at Lynn Oak Church in Clarkton with Rev. Stephen Watkins officiating. Interment will follow in Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Garry Barnes, Jeff Farmer, Allen Pemberton, Brian Campbell, Michael Hart, Billy Hooten, Rodney Cloud, Brandon Walker, Trevor Woodall, James Poole, Dustin Digges, Robert Dillon.
Landess Funeral Home in Malden is in charge of the arrangements.
