Janet Allen passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at her residence in Jackson, Missouri surrounded by her loving family. Janet was born on Wednesday, April 23, 1958 in Sikeston, Missouri to William Harold Powell Keaster and Dora Elizabeth Penning Keaster.

She received a degree in accounting from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She worked at Schmidt and Frey where she was known for her strong work ethic. Janet was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Risco, where her faith and love for others were evident in the way she lived her life.

On July 1, 1992 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri she was united in marriage to Terry Lee Allen. He survives.

Her other survivors include, son, Jason Allen of Montgomery, Ohio; two grandchildren, Megan Garner and husband, Caleb of Cape Girardeau and Graham Allen of Jackson, MO; sister, Myra Wood and husband, Darell of Risco; brother, John Keaster of Lilbourn, MO and sister, Holly Snider and husband, Dennis of Benton, MO.

She is preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Thomas Richard "Dickie" Allen.

Visitation will begin at 11 AM Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Landess Funeral Home in Malden.  The funeral service will follow at 1 PM Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Pastor Gene Lancaster and Pastor Cory Godsey officiating.

Interment will be in Bernie Cemetery in Bernie, MO.
