Gideon ~ James Robert Pardon, Sr., of Gideon, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Mercy Hospital Stoddard in Dexter, Missouri.

He was born on Wedenday, February 23, 1949.

He was a Truck Driver.

He was united in marriage to Freda Smart.  She preceded him in death.

His survivors include sons, James Pardon, Jr., Harold Lowry and wife, Brenda, Rick Lowry all of Gideon; grandchildren, Matt Lowry, Nicole Lowry, Stacia Lowry, Ricky Lowry, Jr. and Scott Lowry; several great-grandchildren and brother, Carl Wayne Pardon and wife, Nancy of Portageville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Zachary Lowry.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden, Missouri, with memorial service beginning at 6 p.m.

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
