James Howard Mullen, 94 of Malden, was born to the late Henry Buford Mullen & Ethel McGriff Mullen in Cooter, Missouri on December 22, 1925. He departed this life on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 in Malden, Missouri.

James Howard Mullen was a farmer and was of the Baptist faith. He served in the U S Air Force and was united in marriage to Bobbye Jean Burrell Mullen. She preceded him in death.

He is survived by:  Son: Jim Bob Mullen & wife, Sharon of Waynesboro, Virginia. 4 Grandsons: Jason Maddox of Kennett, Jeremy Maddox of Clarkton, Scott Mullen & Josh Mullen of Waynesboro, Virginia. 9 Great-grandchildren. Sister: Betty Hyland & husband, Glen of Little Rock, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, his wife and daughter: Suzanna Maddox.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the Culpepper Funeral Home in Kosciusko, Mississippi.

Interment will be in the Sallis Cemetery in Sallis, Mississippi.
